Maybe I am just being optimistic about the weather brightening up but here goes….!!
I ordered a watermelon for my Ocado grocery delivery last weekend but unfortunately the weather was rather grim, so I didn't eat it. Now the sun is out now & I have just had this for breakfast. As I am on the Harcombe Diet just now, as well as hating to eat breakfast too early (ie before 11.30am !!), this is an ideal solution for me.
Link to the recipe on Joy the Baker's blog, which is fun to read & full of tempting recipes.
Edit: PS I have just tried it with cottage cheese rather than feta & I think it is even better, especially for breakfast. It needs lots of pepper, well for me at least !

Hi Janet,
Yes, but not in Phase 1 (which only lasts 5 days) but you must go easy on the balsamic, lemon or lime juice is a better option. I love tomato salad...I add very thin slices of raw onion as well as lots of fresh basil. I make up a small quantity of olive oil, lime juice, crushed garlic & soy sauce in a jar, so I always have some ready to use (only enough for a couple of days, I keep it in a cool place, so I have it ready to pour over a salad or to use as a quick marinade. I love it over hot cauliflower florets or cooked fish.

These look rather tasty - for canapes (vegetarian).
(Especially for those of us who have some smoked garlic ........)
