LOL - um as have private swimming pools get no sympathy. Now why is that (from England)?

I don't mind if you want to partake of the pool - I love having friends around, BUT, sunshine is better than showers for keeping it warm enough - otherwise brass monkeys appear! We don't want that, do we?  Big_Laugh

Eeek

BS, I heard this morning that there is flooding on the Cote d'Azure after 24 hours of non-stop rain.

I'll try that again!

It has been raining a lot today, TA, and after the last week or so, it seems very chilly too.

(I think I can stop kidding myself now, and get the shorts off, and back into jeans again. Brrr)

Hubby said that 20 cms of rain was forecast, and certainly atm, there is no sign of a let-up. I looked at the BBC weather site, and followed the rain/cloud forecast and it seems that we will be under cloud till Sunday evening. Drat.

Our next visitors are on a 5-day break, arriving Friday, so I'm hoping they've got it a bit wrong!

You know they can't get a 5 days forecast right - ever.  So I'm hoping it clears up for you and your visitors.

I'll try that again!

Oh, TA, they have so many rules now for the photo in the passport - mine is quite horrid (!!!!).

Oh dear, you can see what colour my hair is in my avatar...I'll disappear except for my eyebrows!

By the time it gets to renewing my passport in three years time I think I will be as grey as you Toffeeapple, I was looking in the mirror today thinking parts are going very white. Big_Hug. The colour seems to be disappearing really fast now, but I am not going to dye it no way!!! Steam

I thought it was a bit cool here but the weather has been a bit gloomy and we had some rather heavy showers with a bit of hail at one time but it is lovely now, just still a bit cool but at least not as wet as your having BS. Don't know what my hubby would do if it was that bad as he wouldn't be able to go out and play errr I mean work in his tractor.Whistle

I think 'Mutley's bistro' - as you're a chef - could work out really well!!

Investing? There's always 'Dragons Den' ..................... whistle

Come to think of it - what a good name for a bistro - and lots of foods given dragon-y names, too. Serpent; reptile; wyvern; snake, etc etc ...  ok
