An update -  this is Day 8 and I've had no cigarettes at all.  I've stopped using the inhalator, I just don't seem to need it though I am still using a patch everyday.  I have not been eating more than usual and my mood continues to be its usual sunny self.  According to the Niquitin Quitmasters website I have saved £28.00, saved 6 hours and 3 minutes and have cut out 112 cigarettes.  It's rather helpful to have that kind of info to hand.  I think they've undervalued the money though, their values are judged at £5.00 per pack of ciggies when I was paying over £6.00 for the Rothmans...

More next week.

I'll try that again!

You'd never see them in my jungle.  I'm just keeping the money to add to the pension pot.

I'll try that again!

Wow, TA, that is fantastic. big_hug

I've never smoked, but I just remember my parents smoking and then giving it up--my father decided to, so they both did doh back in the 1950s (Both still alive now so it was worth doing smile)

I also remember how they used to have cigarettes available at parties--this was the US, so cheaper than in the UK--and discussions as to whether to continue to do so after they had stopped smoking along the lines of was it hospitality or a bad example?

Well done, I also bought an inhalator, starting using it yesterday and I smoked 1/2 of what I would normally smoke (about 25 a daycry shocking I know), so we will see how it goes, fingers crossed.

Well done Fi!  Let us know how it goes, week by week?

I've dumped the patches now, they were making me feel very unwell and I've used the inhalator twice since last Sunday.  So fingers crossed, I am now a non-smoker.  I've no idea how I managed to get this huge font size halfway through a post...

I'll try that again!
