I just bought 8 bottles of 'Finest' wines - £58.00 except that I had £40.00 worth of vouchers so it wasn't too painful.

Get that puffer out and start sucking it, you know it makes sense!

I'll try that again!

I had a letter form my GP practice offering their stop-smoking consultancy.

Did you go down that route, TA?

I did Danny.  My nurse lady (whatever she is called) gave me nicotine patches and a puffer, which were supposed to be slowly reduced in strength but I haven't been using the patches and the puffer only once in the evening.  Do give it a try Danny, it really is worth it and we'll help too.  Just thinking about the money saving should spur you on.

I'll try that again!

If you did not use the patches, TA, then you must have effectively gone cold turkey.

Even more exceptionally well done.

Why thank you kind sir.  I'm not sure how long it's been now but well over six weeks.  Are you going to do it Danny?

Thank you ladies, your encouragement has truly helped me in this effort.  Fi, it isn't just willpower, the patches really do help and the puffer for the very bad days.

I've put weight on too - half a kilo so now I am officially over 50 kilos.  Yay!

I'll try that again!
