Miss Peters is a dyed-in-the-wool back seat of the school bus kind of gal methinks, TA!

devil big_hug

Toni, what exactly happens when you to open a PM on your new laptop?

If you can provide some step-by-step detail it may help to narrow down the cause.

I can't help you with that Val, when you go into your profile (top right of page) it used to be possible to change the time with a + or - sign but that option appears to no longer be there.  DANNY!!! Wonder if that woke him? wink big_laugh

I'll try that again!

Edit: Val, the forum time is set to BST. There is no option to adjust it for local time, sadly.

Danny, since you're awake now (thanks to TA shouting in your ear big_laugh), perhaps you can help me.

Being, ahem, of a certain hormonal age and blonde embarassed, I can never remember how to put links in my posts.....every single time I want to do it, I have to have your tutorial open in another window and follow it step by step (which is why I don't put links in very often ponder).  Anyway, the last couple of times I've attempted to do it, I've found that the pics in your tutorial aren't actually there anymore, well not for me anyway, they are just blank boxes with that mouse clicker thingy in (which doesn't do anything for me, it just won't load).  So some of your written instructions don't actually mean much to me without the accompanying pics, and it's all guesswork and trial and error on my part, and it's awfully stressful and taxing for my poor little brain, you know whistle

confused I don't think it is set to BST as it is showing an hour ahead of current time which is BST.  Is it set for French time to accommodate our ex-pats?

I'll try that again!

Can't you reset the time through - Profile and then going to Personal options ?   You can add or subtract hours and then reset profile.  Or have I got that wrong????

You used to be able to do that Danuta, but things have changed since the migration.  Profile options are not as the used to be.

I'll try that again!
