I wouldn't miss it...
I wouldn't notice it.....
Who lives long sees much : The diary of my life in Bulgaria
I would! Well maybe not 24 hours but I still find it a great resource for first stop information
It has actually been proved to be quite good and comparable to "proper" encyclopaedias. I know there have been cases of people tampering with it but for your normal run of the mill sort of thing like identifying plants, a person or a country, it is a good first stop. I would never rely on it for an article but it helps when doing some research because it might have alternative names, or the Latin name or some snippets of useful information.
I quite like wikipedia. I actually use it a lot in work to do background reading since it can sometimes be a bit difficult to make sense of a paper which launches straight into the science.
Visit my blog for food, drink, photography and hamsters.
I use it too as it answers lots of questions. There was talk of google joining in too which would be really difficult!
Trying to enjoy life as it is
I use it for definitions of words and geographical info. It can be unreliable for some searches. I would not necessaily miss it if it went off permanently, but I think it is the implication of the proposed US anti piracy law which could affect internet users worldwide that is the concern.
Are we having fun yet? I am!
Oh you mean from the land of the free?
And the home of the brave, to quote the national anthem...
But very scared of new ideas...
