Just a little application and you'll get the hang of it. PMs work now, that is a bonus.

I'm not getting responses to mine though...perhaps they're off to the ether TA....ether they'll bother to answer them or they won't.....big_laughbig_laugh

Bob - I did not miss the watched/subscribed features because I do not use them myself. I will investigate.

Yes, me too Nadine, it's so rude.

On a couple of forums I was a mod on, it was set so that new members were unable to post links until they'd made a certain number of posts.....as a way of stopping spammers who joined just for the purpose of posting their advertising rubbish.  Could you do that on here, Danny?  Please don't ask me how it was done......I have absolutely no idea, sorry whistlebig_laugh

my computer is too small for this new forum, when I go to the normal forum list not the new topics, I only get the list so far down and then it runs off the bottom of my computer, had to wait until someone posted here again to post this. I had no problems with the old version.

You should be able to use the scroll function to see to the bottom I would think.

I hit that snag as well, having a little netbook with a small screen. I deal with it by getting the drop down list of topics, putting the cursor on it and using the scroll wheel (between the left and right buttons of my mouse) to go down the list - it scrolls the main screen as well, and gets everything visible. If you don't usually use a mouse, you could probably plug one into a USB port.wave

Thanks Gottaknit, I don't use a mouse on my netbook, I used one on my last one for a few days and it broke the touchpad and I had to return the netbook to the store when it was under a week old, not taking any chances with this one.

Only just stumbled back into CSH this morning and thought it was my PC playing up and not displaying the page properly

I'm sure I'll get used to the new layout - must be a sign of old age but I must admit to not liking change frown

I used the unread post icon which opened up a box displaying the threads, trouble is clicking on any of them does nothing with my Opera browser other than refresh the box, I have to go through the entire menu.

I have been having that problem too, does not happen all of the time but is this morning. I use firefox but the refresh button does not work for me, I sometimes have to actually leave the site and come back on between each post.

Has anyone else found that "Save this post" often has to be attempted several times before it works?

No- I don't have problems with that, although sometimes it takes a little longer.
