Ah, Danny, despite any of the problems, we're still able to communicate with each other, which is good. Isn't it?

I agree- it is still available, still works, and the new fix has speeded up the site for me no end.

Are we having fun yet? I am!

surprised Oh dear, the forum is very, very slow for me this morning. It has been fine (after Danny's last fix) until this morning.  I posted something overnight & that was fast. I know it is not my laptop as every other site I visit works perfectly !!!   aargh

I don't care if it is slow at times, it is still here, and operating, I would miss it so, if it closed.  This happened to me  last year, when Gardenersclick folded suddenly, all the knowledge friends etc gone in a flash.  Although before the Ship went down a Facebook Group was started up.  I do not really like Facebook, and my Eyes are not so good for the small writing.

The forum is working well for me. Perhaps because I am usually on at quiet times.

I think it could be to do with the amount of traffic too, Chris, sometimes like this morning it is quite quick for me other times very slow.

Never give up Tomorrow is another day.

It seems to be slowest for me when I have plans to go somewhere or do something else, and I'm just popping in to catch up ! steam

Seems fine for me, I suppose possibly pages are a bit slow to load if I was been really honest, but not that it's a problem.

Re sporadic slowneess - Toni complained of it too.

Support said "please supply a little more info, such as date/time".

Intermittent problems can be maddeningly difficult to pinpoint. It's not a traffic issue because our traffic is minuscule really and we have a whole server to ourselves. I think it's an issue with either the servers or the data centre where they are housed.

I only noticed it once, for a few minutes, around lunchtime one day - say 13:00 ish.

So if anybody detects slowness, can you please note the date and time and post on here. That would be really valuable assistance. Thanks.

I noticed that you were pretty slow coming down to breakfast one morning and missed sunrise completely....is that the sort of thing you want reporting? ...runaway

Got these messages on my screen this morning...

Same here. It sort of came back all by itself after I upgraded the blog to the latest version of Wordpress. I have stopped wondering why stuff suddenly works again for no apparent reason. Now I am just grateful confused
