In WordPress, the appearance of a site is governed by what is called a theme.
Similar to a "skin" for other software apps whereby you can change basics like colours and fonts etc.
This one is specially designed to be good for mobile devices (here we go again! )
There is always some work when trying to emulate features of the previous theme in the new one, like making this forum work properly.
Already i can see a few glitches.
Like typing long lines - it keeps going to the right so you can't see what you are typing.
And the "lines" that appear under your name and avatar.
Anyway, I am going to make it live shortly after 07:30 today (Tue).
The forum should function correctly even if it's appearance seems odd.
So please bear with me and report any unusual findings in this thread please.
You can simulate the effect on a smaller screen if you click on the "restore down"
icon, to the left of the "close browser" X extreme top right.
Never knowingly underfed
Trying to enjoy life as it is
Sorry Danny, the 'OMG' wasn't really a constructive comment, was it?
To be honest (what a stupid expression that is, it kind of indicates that you normally AREN'T honest! ) this 'work in progress' layout is doing my head in, especially the typing bit. I think I will gracefully take my leave and come back later, sorry
