I tried again but did not go to center ah well never mind I'll get the hang of it you not able to delet the rubbish one's I suppose. Though I am going to learn about Word press though my control panel I first have to creat sub directory aand experiment with my site to use Wordpress. Is it easy or difficult as I use Frontpage and that I find ok but things can and do go wrong ???

I've deleted the disasters. big_laugh I didn't mean that the shot would go to the middle of the page, it just seems that it shows on the page in the correct format.  

I hadn't realised that you had a web-site!  Even better that it is about motorcycles! Unable to help though since I don't know anything technical.  Several people here have Blogs, Elsa, Ruth, Joanna, Kate, Bobquail etc...  Better if you ask them about the techy stuff.

I'll try that again!

hello from latvia how come you are a supreme being and yet you dont know. What I am trying to figure out is how to make a sort of family blog but run on the same principal as facebook but without all the adverts and outsiders popping in etc etc. I just hate adverts.

Obviously my supremness doesn't stretch outside the realm of this forum whistle. I haven't got any adverts on mine but that is something you have to opt into on blogger. I presume you will be wanting to set a password on it to stop outsiders joing in then? cheers

No just a site like facebook where you can invite your friends to talk and share with you and at the same time mum and dad dont get to peep at what your saying etc, but where all can share family photo's etc. Face book runs on adverts and is now in talks about giving names etc to outsiders not a good thing at all. there must be a program out there somewhere.

I have a friend who uses blogger like that, not everyone can access the details and you have to have an invite. I think the email address is then used as the identifier, I had to sign in using my own email address and password before I could see the blogcheers

Both son and SiL have sites with Picasa. Works well for them.

Though I have never tried.

As you know, I use posterous.com - fairly easy (would have to be for me ..! laugh ).
