Perhaps you can cut it up to make a bag or a pair of mittens !!!! whistle

I think I might have found a good project to do for my first go at felting¦..a bed for my cat. I think she would love it & I know I have a trunk full of various cones of wool which I don't need for anything else. It looks like a manageable project.

If you want a treat go to this page to see lots of photos of other peoples examples of cats' beds¦.full of very happy & contented felines ¦¦ cat cat cat  ok  laugh

Nadine- from experience I can confirm that anything felted is a cat magnet. They will adore it.

Kateuk makes things at http://www.etsy.com/shop/finkstuff and sometimes she does this too http://www54paintings.blogspot.com/ and also this http://finkstuff.weebly.com/

Hi Kate, I think it will be a fun thing to make for Button (my cat) but instead of knitting it I think I will crochet instead, as I am quicker & neater at it.

I just found this interesting article on felting crochet work.

I'm with you there, Hattie - I am quicker at crocheting - and prefer it.

I had assumed that there would be no reason why a crocheted piece couldn't be felted just the same as a knit piece - just goes to show, ay? smile
