Not feeling very well tonight

The decorating is going well but suddenly I have broken out in an itchy rash that is slowly driving me nuts, so I’m off to bed with the Min Pins and an inorganic hottie.
We still have snow on the ground here in the village. Danny went on a 240 mile round trip to the M4 corridor today. He saw no snow from the time he left until he returned to the cottage. It’s nice but a bit tawdry now, just like our kitchen before I began painting it.
By this time next week the snow should be gone and the cottage kitchen should be glistening.

Hope you soon feel better. An itchy rash can be maddening.
Like Michelle, Jackie and KarenO wondering about whether you’ve reacted to the paint – I occasionally get a flare-up of a skin reaction to paint, solvents and cleaning products. It’s hard to pinpoint the trigger, but if I’m a bit low and my hands get stripped of the natural oils because they’ve been in water a lot, the rash can suddenly reappear.
Take care, I sympathise with you about the intense itching.

Hope the hottie & the early night did the trick! Maybe it’s that 1st week of stopping work syndrome (although it’s a busman’s holiday). I wondered about the new paint too – I hope not! Keep warm & well, it would be so frustrating if you couldn’t do what you wanted on your week off.

You didn’t change your laundry detergent, did you?
That new paint you were talking about (that sounds wonderful, by the way!)have you used it before now? I was wondering if you maybe sensative to it. I used to sell paint, and its not unheard of. (I hope thats not your case!)
Itchy rashes are just the worst. Have you taken an antihistamine? Hope you feel better tomorrow.
