Wow, what a beautiful prize! I’ve always wanted a pinic hamper to take on walks or days out. They remind me of my family’s Sunday outings to National Trust properties when I was little; we’d always have a picnic then a walk in the gardens.
I’ve always loved the idea of a wicker picnic hamper – indeed the word hamper too, it reminds me of reading The Tale of Johnny Town Mouse which was always my favourite Beatrix Potter. Plus a wicker hamper doesn’t blow away in the wind or fall over while you are trying to pack it.
I’m wondering whether you’d have the poacher’s pickle with the chocolate and raspberry cookies or the moist sultana flapjack.
